The girls are feeling so much better and were beginning to get a bit stir crazy from being in the house so much so we bought them a little pool yesterday...

Sick babies

There's not much exciting going on here these days besides sick babies. Malea started getting sick Monday of last week and is almost over her virus while Annalisa is in the midst of it now. We were hopeful Annalisa would somehow miss it but that was wishful thinking. I guess it's bound to happen when they share everything. I will say it's been interesting to see how they respond when their sister and constant companion is sick! They both have really had a hard time knowing what to do. They truly are always together. I took Malea to the doctor by herself last week (which was the first time in their almost 10 month life that I have ever taken one out without the other...and I realized how much easier it was to carry just one baby!) while Annalisa stayed home with Gigi (Katy's mom). Apparently Annalisa really did not know what to do or understand why mommy and Malea left without her! It's been a challenge to have one sick and not wanting to do anything but lay on us and to have another baby who only wants to play, but we're making it. Needless to say we haven't taken many pictures in the last week and half so I thought I would put up a few taken right before they got sick.

Some mornings they wake up with some serious bedhead! We're not sure if they get that from Roy or me...

Sloppy Joes live up to their name

We mentioned the girls love feeding themselves these days. Well, we tried something new tonight...sloppy joes. Needless to say, they loved them! It becomes extra interesting though since Annalisa feels it necessary to run her hands through her hair several times throughout dinner!

Where one is...

Where one is, the other is close behind. Annalisa and Malea are having so much fun together. They really do play well together most of the time and you can almost always find them near each other. If one crawls over to a toy, the other is close behind...which includes crawling into trouble, the other is right there with her. They are cruising all around their little playroom and learning new words. It's so fun to watch how excited they get when they learn something new.
