Tough Guy

So Miles takes his fair share of blows from his Annalisa and Malea, but he is starting to take his stand!

7 months overdue

I had no idea anybody still checked our blog...I should've known better...all you faithful out there never give up on me! Although, you'll notice I am no longer the only one writing anymore, I think it has something to do with my lack of posting anything in oh, say, 7 months!

So, 7 months...I'll just say things are great, we're having fun living in our own little circus!

I just wanted to include 2 quick stories I found rather humorous...
The other day mom and I had the kids at Nordstrom's. Annalisa and Malea each had balloons that were tied to their snack cup. Well, on our way out, they realized if they drag their snack cup on the ground it makes a funny noise...so off they went. They both took off running, holding hands, laughing hysterically through Nordstrom's while mom was running after them and carrying Miles and I was running after all of them trying to maneuver a double and single stroller! It was rather comical!

The next night I was getting everybody ready for their bath. It had been a long day already. I had taken everybody's clothes off, including their diapers, and I went into the bathroom to check on the water. When I realized Miles wasn't behind me, I went back to his room where I found him finger painting in a pile of poop...sitting in it, poop all over his legs and hands, and oh yes, his hands were in his mouth...lovely!

Here are a few somewhat recent pictures:

Memorial Day Fun in the Backyard

Yesterday was Memorial Day and we had a great holiday. Now that the
kids are older, we've been searching desperately for backyard toys
that would provide them hours of entertainment and development for all
three. Quite a challenge! Thanks to Costco and the Pumpkin Patch
consignment store, we got this Step 2 flow sink and a playscape (not
shown).

The kids had so much fun we had to find a creative way to entice them
indoors for dinner. Miles wants to do everything like his big sisters
and has to be in the mix too. Sometimes he forgets he's not as big
yet, but it doesn't stop him from trying!
