First Birthday
Annalisa and Malea celebrated their first birthday last week! Malea was pretty sick with a virus that causes a nasty rash, but she she was a trooper all day long! They had a special day of new experiences and lots of balloons. We went to the splash park which Annalisa loved! Malea was having a great time until she unexpectedly had a bucket of water dump on her head! Papa and Gigi gave them baby dolls and strollers, which they love to hug and kiss (we're hoping this will warm them up to loving a new baby brother in the house soon!). Although after loving on the baby, they tend to throw it down...our next step is to learn how to be gentle!

Always moving fast
I had no idea we hadn't posted in so long! The girls have both been walking for over a month now...many times they just walk in circles. They turn 1 on Thursday so we'll be sure to post pictures then!
People always say Roy and I move fast...I don't know where they get that idea! Just because we were married 6 months after we met and found out we were pregnant with twins just 8 months into our marriage. I'll never forget at the end of December in 2007, Roy and I were driving and he posed the question of what God had in store for us in 2008...a couple of days later we found out we were pregnant (just about 5 months after the girls were born) and now...a month and a half before little man is expected to arrive, we are moving...to Austin! We are so excited. Roy accepted a job with an advertising agency on Friday, we found a house on Saturday, and he is starting in 2 weeks! We are hoping to have everything moved and settled in in the next 3 weeks, which will give us just about 3 weeks before the baby comes. It's going to be crazy, but we couldn't be more excited!
