Crawling and clapping babies

Every day is a new day...yesterday Malea got the hang of crawling and today Annalisa learned to clap. They are both quite proud of themselves and their new accomplishments. Meanwhile we are trying to figure out how to keep up with our two little explorers! We have quickly made use of our furniture to block all exits from the playroom (making it quite difficult for us to get in and out) although somehow Annalisa has found a way to even scoot through those small openings! It's going to get interesting as my pregnancy goes on and I'm unable to carry them both at the same time. I've already found Annalisa down the hall and in the bathroom a couple of times while I have gone to get Malea...and the fun begins! They look like they are up to something! Annalisa loves to clap! Malea is very proud of herself! She's taking a little break after crawling.

The verdict is in....

We are having a BOY!!!! He's healthy and everything looks great. We are very excited!

Allow me to introduce the Milton 5...

Since this is our first blogging experience and we have not been great about sharing pictures and stories, we thought we would give a brief rundown on what's happening in the Milton household!


We are having so much fun watching Annalisa and Malea grow and change everyday...literally! They are 8 and a half months old now and are developing such fun personalities. As I am typing now, they are "supposed" to be taking their nap, but last time I peeked in Annalisa was standing in her crib talking to Malea who was kneeling and talking back. The chatter between them sometimes doesn't stop! Annalisa is our mobile mover while Malea is our social butterfly. Annalisa is crawling, climbing, standing, and getting into everything (especially the things she's not supposed to see) while Malea is a little more content sitting, playing with toys, and experimenting with all sorts of new sounds. Malea does love jumping and they both love when Roy "busts a beat" so they can dance! They are starting to interact and teach each other things. In fact this morning, Malea was making Annalisa laugh so hard. I'm not sure what what was so funny, but they sure were having a good time!


We're having so much fun. Everyday is different, and they make us laugh and smile. They bring so much joy to our lives. Below are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Hopefully from here on out we will update it frequently with pictures and less writing!
