Welcome Miles Andrew Milton

For those of you who haven't heard the recent crazy and exciting events in our life, let me take a brief moment and fill you in...
We packed our moving truck in Dallas on Thursday July 31 in 100+ heat (go Roy and dad and mom!) and we headed to Austin late that night to unload the truck on Friday. I thought those two days were long and hard...but things have just gotten crazier since then! Roy started work on Tuesday, Malea got a sinus infection and hives, Wednesday Annalisa, mom, and I all got a nasty stomach virus that left us unable to do just about anything for 3 solid days. None of us could keep any food or liquid in our stomach. Needless to say, little unpacking happened, we went into survival mode. By Saturday we were all feeling a bit better, Roy and I were able to get out and run some errands. The whole day I kept feeling some weird feelings in my stomach, but I didn't think much about it. That night we dropped the girls off at my parents house with the plan being to come home, relax, get some sleep, and maybe unpack one of the two nurseries. Well, that plan was quickly derailed as we ended up driving to the hospital after much persuading from nurses in Dallas and Austin. The whole way there I told Roy I was just having Braxton Hix contractions and to not be mad at me for having to drive down there...well, 2 hours later we had a baby. I was already pretty far into the labor process. They quickly got the operating room ready and me prepped and at 12:26 am on August 10 (Uncle Matt's birthday) we welcomed Miles Andrew into our family. He was 5 weeks early and a tiny little guy but he was completely healthy. They had the NICU team in the operating room to check him out but they said he was one of the first babies his age and size to avoid the nicu! They spent the entire day Sunday pumping me full of fluids, turns out I was severely dehydrated from being sick. So much so they thought something had gone wrong during the surgery or with my kidneys. Eventually everything returned to normal. We are all doing fine, we came home from the hospital yesterday, although it crossed my mind at 4 am when we had 3 crying babies that maybe Miles and I should check back into the hospital and use our last day! We did survive our first night and first day home thanks to SO much help from Gigi! Roy had to return to work today and attempt to function and there is no way I could've managed all 3 by myself! The girls are both very sweet with Miles, giving him lots of kisses and loves. Whenever he cries they run over to him and want to make sure he's okay. We could not have hoped for them to respond any better. A couple of pictures are below, we'll post more soon! Oh, and yes, he does have alot of dark hair, not sure if it's curly yet and we can't tell yet if his eyes will be the same as Annalisa and Malea.
